GOVERNMENT NOT BACKING-DOWN ON BRT ISSUE

It is regrettable that the taxi organizations have rejected the government offer with regards to the BRT issue. BRT is transforming transport system in our country, with millions of rands being invested in the project.  It has brought a significant civil engineering achievement that has to be applauded by all.   The September deadline will not be revisited unless there are infrastructural challenges.  We remain committed to the project, and test runs are key and will not be interrupted.
