Festive season  campaign yielding results

As part of the festive season campaign Gauteng traffic police today were testing  buses for roadworthiness in Laanglagte testing station. A total of 44 long distance buses  were tested and  11 failed the test. In anther operation at Kempton Park 145 minibuses were found to be unroadworthy, 20 summons issued on various offences,1 stolen laptop and 1 copper were recovered.  

The festive season road and community safety campaign is set to intensify with more, intensified and extended roadblocks. Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Khabisi Mosunkutu is expected to participate in some of the planned festive season roadblocks.
